I made a very good living in the music world and have been on countless stages with 100+dB sound levels. As an added bonus, the movie trailers that you must sit through before the show had audio cranked up to ear shattering levels. so we left and came back later to watch the movie.
It was too much even for our high school aged kids.
To add to the desensitizing and turbulent atmosphere, they had the house sound system playing in support, massive video screens right above the bowling pins, EVERYTHING possible to create the atmosphere of an active, brain numbing battleground. We had planned on bowling and playing in the arcade before the movie, but the noise level was head throbbing. No place to stand while waiting your turn and a pretty lame layout. The area is too small for the number of people playing and waiting to play with no monitoring of the flow. Cons: We played 9 holes of miniature golf along with a crush of others. Pros: Friendly, smiling staff, comfortable movie seats.
Wife and I took three grandkids (6-10 grade), we went early to play, then watch the Top Gun movie for the umpteenth time. If you really like head pounding noise inside of a sardine can, this is the place.
